What is Thermage®?
Thermage Treatment (Skin Tightening) is a non-invasive facial and body treatment to tighten and lift the skin by stimulating the formation of collagen. Collagen takes several months to produce, the Thermage ® Radio Frequency bulk heating mechanism stimulates new collagen, which gradually forms (over 3-6 months) and over this time the patient can expect to see a fuller, more toned and lifted appearance.

How Thermage® work
The benefit of Thermage ® Monopolar Radio Frequency it that the bulk heating targets the collagen-rich layers of the dermis stimulating the production of new collagen but the RF also travels along the fibrous septea causing them to contract and give a contouring and lifting effect. With the heat from Thermage, it also helps to reduce the fat from your face. It is a very easy and safe (99.8%) treatment, no downtime. The face will only appear a little flushed for the first hour after treatment. It can be used with any type of facial skin.

Is Thermage® safe for pregnant/breastfeeding women?
It is not suitable for pregnant women and as no topical anaesthetic is used it is suitable for breastfeeding women.
